We painted the living room over the last few days.
We went from a fairly dark blue
to a significantly lighter blue.
We primed it first, which annoyed me, but was probably for the best.
I think it looks pretty good.
Hollow Bean approaches once again, and this year there's a cute li'l Jack-o-lantern in my window to greet the hordes of children that come to ring my bell and get loot.

Since I have a bumper crop of tomatoes coming in, I thought I'd do something with some of them. Today I made some salsa.

So my wife's family had a reunion this past weekend. It was held down in Minto (about 45 minutes south), and the parts we got to featured lots of food, a bonfire, and fireworks.

This past weekend, the day after Canada Day, we took a run with my parents up to Steep Rock, where my sister Nicola was staying with her three boys (well, her hubby and their two sons).
